In life, your beliefs are everything. They help you both navigate winding paths and drive you to succeed. And if you are in sales, this is even more true. In fact, having winning sales beliefs can mean the difference between succeeding and failing. Creating strong, guiding sales beliefs is easier than you might think.
What is a Sales Belief?
Belief noun 1. Confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof 2. Confidence; faith; trust. A belief is simple what you hold to be true, no need for proof to back you up. A belief forms when your temperament and an experience come together.
A belief is inherently NOT a fact. When a random event occurs (like an accident), your conscious mind (temperament) creates a rule that explains what that event means to you. So since that event would something different to someone else, beliefs vary. Your attitude at the time the event occurs also slants your belief as it forms.
